Leftfoot African Safaris Banner

This National Reserve acts as a wildlife dispersal area for Meru National Park. Known as "Kinna" the border between Meru and Bisanadi National park is the traditional division between the Meru and the Boran tribes people. The Reserve covers an area of 606 square kms.

Location:

North East boundary of Meru, Isiolo district.

Distance from Nairobi:

355kms

Hot and dry

  • River Tana and Rojewero river

Wildlife:

Various species of mammals can be found in the reserve including the Lion, Elephant, Buffalo, Cheetah, Rhino, Hippos and various bird species.

Access:

Park is readily accesible via Meru National Park.

Accomodation:

There is currently no accomodation in the reserve.

Best time to Visit:

All year round.
